Originally built in about 1670 as a farm, The Sibson Inn Hotel offers quality accommodation, welcoming bars and good food to the weary traveller, those on business and locals alike.

The Sibson Inn Hotel is privately owned and run by the owners. We run a pretty traditional Inn / Hotel. The atmosphere is one of an upmarket Inn whilst we provide the service of a small hotel. We believe in old fashioned British hospitality. Our guests are pleasantly surprised by our attitude, level of service and quality of food. Most don't expect this on the A1 !

Our regulars comprise locals who like our food and service and regular travellers who have discovered us on one of their trips up and down the A1. Many of them return week after week.

Our 19 en-suite guest rooms are continually being updated to provide comfortable accommodation and together with the ambience and service you would hope for in an English Inn, we are sure you will enjoy your stay.

Our lunchtime and evening menus have been thoughtfully planned to satisfy the needs of the daytime traveller and those of you under less time pressure. Whether you're on business or pleasure we're sure you will find something to satisfy you . You're more than welcome to stop for a break and have a coffee or snack on that long trip to Leeds or Scotland.

We are open during the week to non-residents for breakfast from 7.00 am ( 8 am weekends and Mondays) and lunch from 12.00. We serve hot food all afternoon. Sandwiches, coffee, etc. are available throughout the day.

From 6.30 in the evening our restaurant provides a modern a la carte menu provided by our chef Jerry Mills and his team.

On Sunday we serve lunch from 12 - 3 pm. We are closed to non residents on Sunday evenings.

All of the 19 bedrooms have freeview and DVD players. There are conference facilities to suit most requirements. We specialise in weddings, both small and large, for every budget. We have special deals for Friday and Sunday weddings, details can be found elsewhere on the website.
