Why choose the Sibson Inn for your wedding ?

One of the main benefits of having your wedding at The Sibson is that we only have one wedding on per day, so you will have exclusive use of all the function facilities.

Simon and David will always be working on your special day. We will be involved throughout the planning stages and personally supervise everything for you. If you decide to get married here we will ensure that all your guests know where they are going and get the bride and groom to the registrars on time.

We are also very flexible, we provide menu choices for your guests, that means you get to preorder a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses ( plus a vegetarian option ) and 2 desserts, we can adapt our menus to suit you. We have a wide range of vegetarian dishes and regularly experience guests with food allergies or wheat intolerances, etc.

Most hotels offer wedding packages but we prefer a more tailor made approach as your needs will undoubtably be unique, however to help you we have price lists for every aspect of your celebration including:

Welcome drinks

Table wines

Toast drinks

Menu options

Evening buffets

Disco's

For budgeting purposes a full wedding will cost between £48 - £65 per head to include:

Room hire
A welcome drink
1 glass of wine per person
Toast drink
3 course wedding breakfast with choices

Tea/coffee
Cake cutting
White linen, including white linen napkins

The total price will very much depend on the type of drinks ordered and the complexity of the wedding breakfast.

Evening buffets vary but you should budget from £ 7.50 to £ 10 per head. We have a comprehensive list enabling you to create your own style of buffet.

Evening Hog roasts can be arranged. They cost £10 per person for all evening guests attending.

Evening Entertainment

Disco hire is £250, although you can provide your own. Disco's normally start around 8pm and finish at 1 am.

You are welcome to organise a live band if you prefer

Flowers and table decorations

Nearly all of our brides organise their own flowers and table decorations. If we don't have a wedding the day before yours, you can come and decorate your tables the day before.If this isn't possible we will finish things off to your instructions.

Civil Marriages and partnerships held at the Sibson Inn Hotel

You will need to contact the registrars office in Huntingdon to book the registrars. There is a fee you will need to pay to them.

They will tell you all about the format of the service, readings, allowable music, photography, video filming, etc.
