How much will it cost? Estimating the cost of your wedding reception is not difficult, however you will need
to know a few things. In the early stages you can guess most of them to give an idea of costs.
You will need to
know the total number of people attending the day time wedding breakfast. This should include adults, children and young
children that may require high chairs.
Divide the total number of guests by 8 to arrive at the number of tables
required.
Plan to have tables of 8 to start with, this can be changed later.
Room Hire Price will depend on whether you will require the marquee or not and whether you will want to get
married here or in church
Our limit here is 64 people at the ceremony.
If you want to have more
than 40 for a sit down meal then you will need the marquee

Day time drinks & food Welcome drinks - decide which welcome drinks you want and the numbers of each
Main meal - decide
how many main adult meals and childrens meals you want. Young children in high chairs don't normally get included as they
tend not to be old enough.
Decide how many bottles of wine per table. 1 red & 1 White is OK for most tables
We don't allow corkage
Decide which toast drink and how many. Children can have lemonade served in
a champagne flute if you wish
Evening
reception Decide how many evening guests you are going
to invite. Budget at the early stages to spend between £7.50 and £10 per person.
Hog roasts can be
provided in the evening only . We charge £10 per head for all evening guests attending.
We don't generally
do BBQ's as they are so weather dependent.
We don't allow outside caterers or DIY catering.
Disco & bands We can book you a disco for £250, to be paid to the disco by you direct in cash on the night,
or you can book your own.
Bands can be booked by you.
Honeymoon Suite
The honeymoon suite will be FOC if all other rooms are booked
and all guests turn up and pay. Otherwise it will be £120 B&B

A larger room suited for cocktail parties, buffets, lunches and dining. Licensed
for civil partnerships for up to 46 guests

breakfasts can be accommodated for parties of 50.

Marquee
We
have a marquee suitable for wedding breakfasts of 50 to 150. The marquee adjoins the other function
rooms giving access to the bars and WC’s. It is also ideal for your evening party and disco.
The Marquee
costs £750 to hire.
All hire rates are per day or part of day.
The whole function complex can be hired for £950 per
day
Or £1150 per day to include your Civil Partnership ceremony
Prices are for the 2010 season .
